I finally able to have a pair form out of my wild ecuador group that Umbeeking and I had imported last fall!! these guys are looking fantastic
the male is 4.5-5" and the female is 3.5-4" Im totally luvin this pair. this is the only festaes ive had eat from my hand!!! Crazy
I moved them into a 75g on sunday with a few lil midas growouts as dithers, and so far so good
I still have about 6 or so left in the group this pair came from. and from the looks of things i have at least 2 females possibly 4 and 1 male. the others are still too small for me to tell. Im excited to have this group and especially this pair acting like they want to spawn so soon These pics arent the best but at least you can get a good look at them. also the male has shown his bars vaguely so im not sure if ill finally get a male that will show his bars:/ Anyways , i hope everyone enjoys and ill be letting the rest of the group go in a few weeks.
