WOW what a set up. This belongs in a creepy bar! Seriously, pretty amazing all you can do. Would love to see a picture of the set up? Is it all remotely controlled? Did you construct it yourself? I have recently purchased a simple LED set up, took me a bit but now I really like the light and much prefer it to the florescent lighting. (BTW, Green is awesome for variation. )

Nice set up and those lights are crazy lol its like your fish are at a Metallica concert with full affects:) and it doesn't seem to bother the fish.

Thanks guys the leds are from a company Ecoxotic, they are the 19 watt each w/ 15 different colors bands. Pretty cool comes with a small remote that works up to 30 feet away. Each color is also dimable and a few other options almost like xmas lights I'll never really use. Pretty big dollars $350 for this setup on a 90 gallon, but the leds are supposely good for many thousands of hours.

I'll post up a regular vid of my setup

Can you post pics of the actual light? Also do you know the K rating of the white? One last one...why keep the water surface so still...I love the shimmer effect you can get with LED or MH with the surface rippling.

If you go to their web site I am sure there is a pic of the lights and other informational spec. it is a kinda build your own light fixture or retro fit your old one. I just mounted the led bars in a reflector, then mounted on a piece of wood I watered proof first. No giant hot balast or heavy wires to mess with. the power supplie will handlw 60 watts. my two lights put out 38 watts, so i have room to add another stunner bar for more light and shimmer. at my lfs they have these growing corals with no problem.
I got em to change the standard color of the tank and Thanks moved my power head and now have much more shimmer,

like your avator pic

Thanks that's my wild male in breeding dress...I have a thread in the photo section with pics and vids. Glad I could help on the shimmer part...I thought you just didn't like it and that's why you had it like that. I live the shimmer that's why I put MH on my 240 but I'm about to try out some led flood lights.

[YT][/YT]Thats cool, i also have a 120 gallon w/ the led spotlight from th esame company. again big bucks the spotlight bulb was like $100. I bought a campers tent light fixture at home depot and spray painted black & hung from black chain. looks pretty custom and a cheap way to go for a fixture. gives out a good amount of light and shimmer but it is more concentrated in the center making the sides darker.
I try and post some pics, having trouble uploading vids to youtube.
