thats a nice fish in there! its an AA for me and looks like a male ZZ

i however notice nipped tail, ventral and dorsal fins. i suggest you cut the jagged parts off using a scissors so as to have a great looking finnage when it grows back

IMO male red dragon, AA grade, overall nice fish. Just curious, what happened to his fins and tail?

got him outta san fran for $80, we had a puffer in the tank for about 10 minutes then took it out. the puffer did that in about 10 minutes. it sucks

just curious how do u tell if they are male or female?

now a days its just a guessing game. usually you can tell if it a female if it has a black spot on the dorsal fin and doesnt have a kok or very small kok. but with all the different speices being introduced it can be misleading. the best way to tell is by venting. but just from the looks of the pictures my guess is still a male take a picture of is anus and we would definately be able to tell you.
