i was given this little fella the past sunday for free and was told it was an srd x texas hybrid. no clue if its any good or not, so i'll leave it for the pros here to figure it out for me.

I'm no expert but it looks nice to me. I like the colors, good pearls and nice little KOK for a female. Should be good for breeding.

lol you know its a female? how can you tell? i tried venting it and i still had no clue if it was a female or male

it has the black mark on the dorsal fin and almost all flowerhorn with that mark on the topfin are females but not 100% accurate. Put a male next to it with a divider and you will see whether it a female or male in a week later.

Not 100% til it lays eggs but it looks like it has an egg tube in second pic, it has the round body and there is the mark on the fin...
