New filter question

On my 125 I have 2 hob filters and a 404 canister. The hob as getting taken off and a fx5 will be replacing them. My question is if I take half the media out of the 404 and put it in the fx5 and fill both filter back up with media how long should I wait till I take the old ones off.

I'd give it a few days (3-4).....your gonna love the FX5 !!
