New filter!!

sure ,see if you have something from any other running filters you have to seed it .

1) start water change by draining some tank water into a bucket.
2) add media from new filter to bucket with old tank water (you can even rinse the other filter media in there. Tank water only!!!)
3) change water as normal. Drain, add dechlor, add water.
4) put filter media in new filter and crank it up.
5) beer.

Perfect like the added comment of beer hope my fish likes blue moon haha kidding, I'm actually going to wait a day to do the water change I just bought two hob today an aqua clear 50 and a fluval C4, added to the aquaclear 70 my turn over rate is x16

+1 the tank is already seeded, the new ac will seed on its own but its not necessary.



Just rinse it and pop it on and ur good, if ur not adding bio media then it will be good for just mechanical and agitation
