New filter

I’m upgrading a new filter with a tank that has been cycled I plan on using the old media from the other tank. Is there anything that else that I need to do when setting up a new filter?

I don’t think so, but I would Clean the old while you have it out with old tank water.

Will the other aquarium still be setup if so just remove a small portion of Bio Media to jump start cycle of new aquarium. If you are just adding a filter to the same aquarium you could just add a small portion of Bio Media to get the filter cycled.

I just transfer the old media to the new filter and dose with Prime for a few days to handle any fluctuations.
