It’s been a while since I have been on here. Have not kept fish in a while as i had no time, graduated school then had my welding course paid for by my high school so I had to go straight from high school to trade school.

During my time off I built a much larger pond than I’ve ever had before and started building my filtration, it’s a strong box with about 120 pot scrubbies, when I went to the dollar store and placed the 30 packs at the cash register she must of thought I was crazy, 600 goh pump and lots of floating plants as filtration.

If you guys have any suggestions for something else to switch the scrubbies with let me know. I will post more pictures when it’s not raining. If it belongs in the pond section my bad

I may change some things up soon, mainly the flow, the pump is 600gph and with the head pressure I just feel like it isn’t enough, and maybe even make a larger new filter as my fish are growing pretty quick

I will try to get a better picture of the one fish my long fin koi changed colours from all gold, to all black with a gold head. Couldn’t find pictures of it on the internet so pretty strange

It is a very nice looking pond and the water seems quite clear. I really like the landscaping around the pond. If your water parameters are good you probably don't need to mess with your filter at all! But some people can never leave well enough alone and always have to try to make it better... having this personality trait myself I understand completely the need to make it better! ;)
