Hey guys, my delhezi's fin are finally growing back!! but the thing is, they are a lot diffent than his original fins. They are all lighter than the fins with no "stripped" patterns on them. also, the new fins have a "badish" curve on them. will the fins grow back "perfectly' or near perfect as original??? i'm just making sure. he's still my fav bichir but he can sure put one some weight!!! LOLS

PS. his tubular nose things are starting to grow back but my dang albino bit one side off again!!!!!

My experience with fins growing back has been very good. There are conditioners you can add to help the healing process. I use Microbe-Lift Stress Relief and by the next day I see signs of healing and fully back to normal within a few days. My ID shark had a banged up eye once, poured some magic in and it was healed up in a couple of days. Now he has a tail issue from previous nipping by a Leoporinus but it's just about healed up. Stuff works fast.

Post some pics;) I've had Polys where fins have grown back normally and some that don't. It really depends on the original damage and water quality.

Its the same with my ansorgii hybrid. its tail got bitten off to the bone and now it is growing back. but a shade darker, the marking a little off, and it doesn't seems to be growing symmetrically. I'm waiting to see how the "end product" would look like. hopefully not too much of a difference or it would be such a shame =/
