Picked up a 3" fire eel last week. No trouble with feeding and now it's eating from my hand. Really cool little guy. My favorite fish next to my arowana.

Seriously, I didn't even know they brought them in that small. He's so cute. That's great that he's eating so well. What are you feeding him?
Be careful of your clown knife is not thinking he's dinner. I've had my 17" CK down a fat 5+" Ghost knife without a second thought. I had never seen them open their mouths like that. Those mouths get bigger than you think. I'd hate for you to lose that awesome little guy.

The eel doubled in size already. I feed him a single cube of blood worms daily. It's not interested in anything else I throw in there and as for the clown knife so far he shows no interest in the eel although I am keeping an eye on him as he is growing quite big fast.
