Very nice always wanted one but not a large enough tank. One day when all my fish kick the bucket I will have a fahaka in my 180 gallon.

Lovely puffer I would love to have one as well. What is the realistic tank size req for a very long period of its life? I have heard some people suggest enormous sizes is this really the case?

need at least a 300 gallon with a good footprint really imo, ive seen 18 inch mbu and they have some girth, like a loaf of bread swimming round lol so a 2fter would be insane... get some green spotted in a brackish system tehy hit 8 inch and are just as fun as a fahaka.
