Hey all, I got a couple new fish a few weeks ago to raise up a bit while I work on my tanks ( 55 and my 75 which I’m still working on.) was only able to grab a peek at the larger one eating algae wafers, the small one likes to hide.
Managed to get a couple of shots of both of them after sneaking up to the tank, they are growing like crazy. They and the coryadoras got a bit of a treat of surplus watermelon since I couldn’t fit it all in the fridge. The little one went crazy, i unfortunately didn’t get any pictures of that. (The biggest cory actually laid a couple eggs on the wall in front of me, tetras ate the eggs) anyhow pictures! The little one with belly to the glass is facing me and the big one is on the left wall.
Managed to get a photo of them both albeit a little blurry and a bit away as not to spook em. They are in the community 55 my mom and I have. (She loves community fish)
Thought I would give an update on the blue eyed BN plecos, growing like crazy and I am thinking the first two pictures is of a male (little young yet to tell 100%) and the second one is of a female. They are enjoying watermelon, zucchini and algae wafers. Going to get an open ended tube for them to rest in and keep the smaller one from getting trapped. I also need to scrub the walls again so pardon the algae flecks.
Got an updated picture of both of them. The one I call Atlas has taken off size-wise to the one I call min-min. Goldie the glofish also is a photo bomber galore. The outside glass needs a serious wipe down, sorry about that.
I've fallen in love with these bushy nose plecos and will probably add a quad group into my planted 75 firemouth/swordtail group as well once that is done cycling. love the pop of color they give off.
