New Fish Enthusiast

Greetings,
My name is Willow and my husband is Michael. We live in Alberta, Canada with our fish and cats. We are new to the fish world. We have a 55 gal. Goldfish tank and a 20 gal. Tropical tank. The closest fish we have to a monster is our Black Moor we named Monster. He (or she) is the largest fish at about 5 inches long. I love the Black Moors because they are mellow fish and have an awesome look with their bugged eyes. I hope to get more of them in the future and many more tanks. We thought this would be an inexpensive hobby but I'm sure you all know that was a wrong assumption. The fish are still worth every penny spent on them. Our fish and cats are our children. What more can I say.

as you say, you thought it was inexpensive, it can be if you dont look after them properly, but as you stated, you find them beautiful and they are worth every penny indeed! i think ive spend more on this addiction, than that i would if i was addicted to drugs hehe, this is much better for you health to!
