I got a new fish cuz it looked like it needed to be saved also I've always wanted one of these. funny story the lfs guy didnt know it was a firemoth and tried to charge me 45 bucks for it cuz he swore it was a flowerhorn. so I showed him the difference by taking him to tank at where he did have a flowerhorn but he still insisted it was the same fish, so then I grabbed a bag of hikari cichlid pellets and showed him the adult firemouth compared to the adult flowerhorn he has in his store, so he finally called a budy of his that helps him run the place and over the phone he got the ok to sell the firemouth to me for 9.99 he's a little beat up but I think I can fix him right up. let me know what you think of him.
