I traded away my beastly armatus to thefishwrestler for his ngt which freed up this 240g. I finally got my hands on some fish I've been searching for and here they are, eating after a long car drive on a cold day- immediatly after dropping into the tank!

Already taking aro stick, super worms, freeze dried krill and frozen bloodworms.

Sorry for the algae...I just got rid of a giant common pleco. I had no idea he was taking care of this much algae by himself...
 
You need to get rid of whatever is beating up you arowana and I think there is something wrong with your big datnoid.
 
They are new from an LFS......have you ever gotten an arowana from an LFS that was pristine?
The ngt has been in the tank for a week.....elaborate on why you think something is wrong with him.

you found leichardti at you LFS?!? you lucky sob! And i mean everyone looks good, the ngt is just chilling, like alot of ngts do. I mean it looks like you have one too many leis, maybe you should send me one here, ill heal those fins up real quick:naughty::grinno:
 
I thought it was too good to be true. I've been looking forever....

He was supposed to get in a bunch, not sure if any died or he just got the 3 in. They only just arrived late saturday night and I was doorbusting this morning:)

Just picked up a brand new fx5 for $200 on ebay (3 left if anyone wants one) so I'll be running 2 of them on this tank hoping to keep this tank water crystal clear. These guys are eating a ton and they aren't picky at all :)

lol let me know if they become too much, i love them too, and you deserved them because you had been looking for SO long. I am hoping my stock can looking some what simular to yours, with dats, a lei, some clown loaches, and maybe a pbass or two to put the cherry on top:grinno:
 
Never been a cichla guy......maybe I'll start some grow outs and see what happens...I have a spare 100g running with no fish :grinno:
 
not to burst a bubble my dude but those all look to be jardini. too much coloring and pearling on the fins to be leis, also headshape... still very nice!
