New Fish from Rapps Order

Just picked these guys up today. Much thanks to "the animal guy", Troy you are totally cool and thanks for keeping these for me until I could pick them up. Thanks for the Argentea as well. You guys treated us very well and I look forward to placing an "Ira" order with you next month!!!! The first pic is a 4" A. Centrarchus, they are awesome the pic doesn't do him justice, for some reason it washed out the beautiful bue hue he has. The second and third pics are my new Lyonsi and the last pic is my new Argentea. Hope you enjoy.

the Cectrarchus is a cool fish. Not so mean that is good for community. Pictures dont really show the true colors.. He's rich vanilla gold with metallic blue. Gotta see in person to appreciate. I liked when I saw it in the bag in sunlight.

I dont see pix of your Argentea.

One of the very first cichlids ever imported into the hobby...the Flyer Cichlid...A. Centrarchus. Are you familiar with their unusual breeding practice of hanging their fry from the roots of plants like tiny Christmas ornaments?

Thanks for the info Mo, I was not aware of that. I simple ordered the Centrarcus on a whim, just threw it on the order to make the order worth while. Upon getting it , it's has become one of my favorites. By the way, keep those cool pics of yours coming!!!! I love checking those out.

They hang the eggs in the tangles of small plant roots, etc. They also deposit the wrigglers there in a similar manner.
