New fish from.....

:eek: petsmart. i know not the best place to buy from, but the petsmart i visited had the fish i wanted.

checked out one of my favorite lfs's and they didn't have much that i wanted, and i was going to see if i could find some taihetan (sp?) moon sand from petsmart, which they didn't have any, but i did pick up some new fish.

a 6" needlefish, 6" peacock eel, 3" senegal and a male krib.

The male krib was in pretty bad condition in the tank, but he had so much color in him, that i knew he'd make the perfect mate for my awesome female once i got him into breeding form....so lets hope the best and maybe the female won't beat the snot out of him right now.
 
i'll see if i find the camera tommarow and if i can get any decent pics of them.
 
no pics today, stupid oscar tried eating my needlefish and now i'm not sure if he is gunna pull through....

needlefish down....sucks, but now i'm worried about my krib who is hiding in a wierd position under some driftwood. idk if i should whip out a QT tank and put him in it until i'm sure he's healthy enough to put up with my female krib's aggression or not. i'm thinking i'm going to have to try that, but the last few fish i've QT'd have turned out worse then when they were in the tank lol

might just be scared of the oscar
 
yes i don't QT very often. i am opening up a 10 gallon just for the krib because he is starting to act very strange.....i really hope he doesn't die because he has awesome colors.

he isn't in the tank with the oscar, he is in my 29 gallon community....but he is scared of the female krib i think. i'm going to get him out of there as soon as possible.
