NEW FISH : ID this Shark

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks like it's been spray-painted since the markings don't follow to the head and face like most bamboo and cat sharks. When alive, it may have been a Chiloscyllium sp (possibly C. griseum); the gray bamboo shark.

Looks like the rare an Elusive spotted Dell keyboard shark.  :headbang2

It looks to me like it is a catshark, most likely Atelomycterus macleayi since it came from China. I think the eyes are too large to be a chiloscyllium and it also appears to be missing the nasal barbels of the chiloscyllium as well.

i think it a distant relative of the snakehead key chain family
