Well now that my 240 finally has a few fish in it I thought I would post some pics. You can see lots of tank pics and the build in the link in my sig...its still not done. The fish I added are yellow labs, acei, venustus, fryeri, moorri, syn eupterus. I need to work on my pic skilz with my D90...I should have better pics one day. Tank is still cloudy...I just set it up and im trying out the tetra safestart. Jury is still out on the yellow labs...they might be sick...maybe flukes...I will watch over the next few days...they came from livefishdirect.

enjoy

Nice tank man I have some fish commin in today from LFD I hope they arent sick!

What did you order from them? Yesterday 3 were swimming by each other the 4th was not...and his fins looked a little clamped. This morning I turned on the lights for about an hour and only 1 was out swimming the other 3 were on the sand nestled to a rock or corner. So time will tell whats going on...they are scraping on the sand too.

Yes there is a lot of open space for them....im itching to add more already but need to wait for it to do its thing with this safestart...if it works or not.

I have 2...that is the smaller one. I plan to give one to my bro n law. I also plan to have a lot more cats in there...I love them...one of which will be a granulosus!

Nope...that stuff (if you ask me) is the next best thing to the 3m stuff. Its Estes ultra reef sand. If you look in my build thread in my sig I have a shot of some on a plate next to a ball point pen. I didn't rinse it one bit...it doesn't need it...and it was easy to get. It did cost more at about 1$/lb and theres 120lbs in the tank.
