About a year ago, I had a small group of young Kenyi in a species tank - they were the only thing I could get locally that were quality looking fish. When I decided to finally suck it up and start ordering my fish online, I needed the space, so I gave the Kenyi to a friend/co-worker, who's had them since then. Now fully mature, she's been whining about the dominant male beating everyone up, and when I dropped her off at home tonight, asked me to take him. So I now have back a fish I had over a year ago :) Anyway, here he is in his new home:

that is a beautiful looking fish!

Nah, don't wanna go there. If he's the only kenyi in the tank, the greshakei, Lumbila, and Mbweca males can keep him in line. If he's got girls in there, he'll go psycho. I don't want him ripping up all my little rare babies. Besides, I have too many african babies to worry about already, lol.

He looks very happy. Looks like your friend took very good care of him.

Lol yeah, she did an okay job ;) She had them in a 29gal :( but he seems like he adjusted well.

now that you have the dominant male wont one of the other males just take his spot as the dominant male and be just as mean as that one was? nice fish by the way. i have one and i love it.
