got a bunch of new fish the first weekend of march; archocentrus centrarchus, archocentrus cutteri, haplochromis obliquidens sp. sunrise, psuedocrenilabrus nicholsi amongst others.

my cutteri already spawned and you can see the female in the blue flower vase thing. everything is doing really well and i'm glad i got back to basics :)

the fish above are doing well in a 100 gallon tank.

i threw in pictures of the lone male beani i have left (female died this morning from this massive flesh wound she incurred after she rammed into the eggcrate divider... melafix and water changes could not save her) :(

in any case, enjoy.

The first picture is Haplichromis sp. obliquidens 'sunrise'

The blue on those centrarchus is amazing!!! Are those the Lake Nicaraguans?

i wish i knew :)
there are some really discerning fish keepers at the COAST fish club i go to. i would honestly recommend everyone to join their local fish club. it's a great way to meet people, get QUALITY fish for much less than elsewhere (even on this great forum) and you really do get somewhat rarer things every now and then.

d-train - yes those are the obliquidens sp. sunrise. the yellow faced fish with the purple spots is the psuedocrenilabrus nicholsi. these two fish are from lake victoria and west africa respecively. really easy to keep - eats flakes like there's no tomorrow ;)

Neato, thanks ewok and Quinn :)..... I was leaning towards sunrise on the first one... But only because it was colourful haha :D
