I have a new African brown knife and a sen poly
they seem to be adjusting well

just a blue gourami and a few tiny snails no idea where they came from

any ideas on how to feed my knife I am having troble getting food to the bottom w/o my poly gulping up more than his share and my knife won't eat at the surface

Have you tried feeding it at night?

yeah that works a little better he gets more of the food
but he still won't eat from the surface and within a minute of food hitting the bottom my sen will grab the pellets and start on anything else edible
I'm going to get a few different types of frozen foods to try he is eating a little but my little sen is getting more than he needs anyway my knife need more variety if he won't eat his pellets

my african knife will eat out of my fingers. have you tryed this method? im sure he will be timid at first, but mine picked it up pretty quick.

yeah still babies
the frozen bloodworms worked he is a bit shy to hand feed yet
but he is getting less afraid everyday
