This fish has been tormenting me with it's great color for a couple months. Finally I caved. We don't get them in often, and they're relatively expensive, but it's worth it.
Since forever, duh! LOL I have had it for a year. You see a lot less posts about it because predatory FW fish are my passion. It was a real challenge to make this tank stable, but it's been going really well.
If I ever work up the funds to setup a reef then I will be forfilling my wish on owning an Emperor Angelfish. Come to think of it, they'd probably cost more then the amount of live rock I'd need.
Here's a few more shots of my setup, you can see the Angel getting cleaned by the Cleaner Shrimp. Also, my Royal Gramma. It's my unicorn fish, the one I can't keep alive. This is my fifth one. The other 4 died due to parasites, but I seemingly have that problem under control.
beautiful specimen, my favourite dwarf angel.
has it shown any intrest in your coral?
that's the only thing keeping me from adding one to my future reef
