We had a few weeks ago at my LFS were i work 4 11" Oscars a 4" Juwel cichid broughtin who were being kept with a 10" Red belly piranha in a 4 foot tank. The oscars were all fine except this red which is blind in one eye from a piranha bite and we put them into a 5x3x18 tank and over the last few days its been very depressed and laying on its side, so ive brought him home and put him in one of my 6x2x2 with some young 4" oscars which have really cheered him up and hes much happier and more active.

Heres a few pix. He loves earthworms:D

nice rescue! i just bought one a few days ago too. i always told myself i never wanted an oscar, but i found a tiger that i couldnt resist. i love how tame he is. i might get a red now too! :)

Nice rescue. Most people would have just passed that fish by because it's an oscar. I personally love the fish. I had 8 of them that were all rescued from people who couldn't handle them anymore. Good job.

As Oscars are my all-time favorite I've got to say 'nice save' :-) You can't beat Oscars as far as personality.
