Hi, I currently have a 150 gal with an 11" jaguar cichlid (surprisingly she's rather peaceful), 2 6" oscars, a 5" jack Dempsey, and a 4" green terror, they all get along fine exept for the jd who sometimes chases the gt, but nothing too bad, I'm currently setting up a 60 gal and I'm looking for ideas for fish to stock it with, preferably semi large sa/ca cichlids but I'm open to anything, any suggestions?

Hello,
How big are your fish in the 150? Any aggression from the jaguar?
I agree that the stocking in the 150 is heavy, I think the 60 gallon would make a good solo home for the GT and a school of tetras, or the JD and a shoal of swordtails. Both would make a good display.

The two oscars each have another 6" (or more) of growth yet to come, so they will easily fill out the tank in time. And adding another new fish to the already established territorial lines could totally upset the now peaceful balance.
I also agree with the others, that you may be better removing the ones that occasionally upset the balance now, to the 60 (like the JDs and/or the GT, rather than tinkering around and adding more. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.
I know the temptation is always to want new, but the new might be the straw that ruins the whole thing.
If you "have to" have a new toy, it should not be a cichlid, it should be something non-territorial, like some tetras too large to swallow (good luck), and if you do, you should also consider anything will new add to the bio load, and require you to up the frequency of water changes, the amount of new water needed, and more frequent filter cleaning.
And maybe before (if) adding the fish, you could set up the 60 as a quarantine tank for a few months to be sure the new fish don't bring in/cause an epidemic with what you have already.

I wasn't planing on putting anything new in the 150, I was considering moving the jd but I kinda like how the tank is stocked rn, the jag shows literally no aggression witch I know is strange but I guess each fish is different, the only one that ever shows any aggression is the jd but that's only occasionally, the gt could swim within an inch of her and nothing will happen but sometimes the jd will chase the green terror but only for a few inches until the gt swims away, there's no real pursuit from the jd, also both the jd and jag are females and I think the gt is a male (not 100% sure), and I have no idea about the oscars

Electric yellows cichlids with a blue background and white sand gives a a faux saltwater look. A single oscar would probably be cool to keep and have the most pereonality but some would argue that a 60 is too small for an adult oscar. There are long finned oscars now...they look really strange.
