today i went to some local ponds and caught probably 100 "minnows". Upon further look i see that there are 4 different types of fish in there. one that was very skinny and small....died quickly. regular minnows i guess. one that is a greyish that has some black blotches and a red outlite on its dorsal fin. and last but not least i think i caught a baby baby baby bass. It is about an inch if not smaller....its a darkish color with a black horizontal line going all the way across. i will try to get some pics up, but does anyone have any ideas??? what should i feed them? especially the tiny "bass"?

sounds like a gambusia (dead one) the second one mentiones could beanything really. but sounds like you got alot of baby fish so....my guess is some sort of sunfish.
the "bass" could also be a baby bluegill (they tend to look very similar under 1")
go buy some guppy food (flakes) and cichlid flakes. mix bith containers together and crumble it up into tiny pieces when you feed them. also some shrimp pellets (sinking). theyll pick at it as it dissolves.
when they get bigger switch to cichlid "mini" pellets and feed that along with redworms, crickets, and flakes. also mealworms are great treats when they hit the 3-5" mark.

the food is basic. highly nutritious and good for just about all natives (babies atleast)

We need pictures in order to identify your fish. On future expeditions I suggest you take a feild guide. The Peterson guide to freshwater fishes is one of the best and only about $20.00. It's best to ID fish before you bring them home if you can. Wouldn't want ya taking a rare species or species you cannot care for properly.

The 3rd picture down is a mosquitofish. (Gambusia affinis)
The bottom one is definately NOT a bass. It's most likely a minnow, probably some kind of dace, but I'm not very good at identifying minnows.
It could also possibly be a killifish but I can't tell from the angle of the pic.
The other fish I have no idea.
