well finally after holding onto my red flamingos/ midas or red devils for a month. i took them back due to the fact the extremely agressive male took a blow to my albino zebra (which i hopes he makes it hes breathing really heavy :() and constantly bothered the other flamingo all day long. i got a good deal and bought me two new peacocks :). a red fire queen and sunshine. Only $15 for the two also. they should fit in much better. and if anyone has any info on red aulonocara baenschi "red fire queen" could u give me a lil help i couldnt find much. not even a pic of what they look like as adults. but my lfs dealer said they rarely get them in so i took in what he told me and what i kind of new and jumped on it. im hoping it was a good idea. o n sorry for the pics there not the greatest good camera is broke....

is this the same guy who told you the other fish were something they were not?

I have only heard of yellow. Are you sure it is not an Aulonocara sp. "Stuartgranti Maleri" (Chipoka) they can be orange as well as yellow.

well im not sure if the scientific name is correct i was just going off one of the few websites that i could find, and it had the red fire queen listed as that. but, all my dealer said that its an african peacock called a red fire queen. he said they usually dont get them in. n yes it was the same guy...i mean hes a good dude but i dont know if he researches some of these fish. i expect he just goes by what ever the breeder says they are...o n they where awfully suprised at the store when i brought the two back and seen that within a month the red flamingos or whatever had doubled in size. i kind of hope they sit in the store so i can see exactly what they turn out 2 be. well i guess im gonna have to play this fish out n just see what it turns out 2 be. but at least i know that its for sure a peacock and will fit in my tank.
