New fish?

Small town near Toronto
I have a 55 gallon tank with 5 zebra danios, 3 scissortail rasboras and one L021 who was abandoned at my LFS. I tried addind more scissortails, but they spontaneously die. I might add some more zebras and a bristlenose.
Any other reccomendations?
 
I'd do like 10 more zebras. Then how about some medium sized loaches like yoyos? Maybe 5 of them?

bottomfeeder, could I have mosquitofish in ther?
I kinda wanted some feeders for my danios, and mosquitofish are cool

Mosquitofish in my experience enjoy shredding...i mean SHREDDING... small cyprinids

Yeah, mosquitoes-especially males-can be nippy and aggressive with other fish around their size.

If you had just the zebras, with adequate filtration in a 55, you could probably do like 75 of them. The only problem is your current pleco. If he isn't already, he'll be a big boy and produce a lot of waste. If you could, I'd really try to find him a bigger home. Besides him though, 15-20 zebras, 3 (you could also get another 5 or so of these guys too) scissortails, a BN or two, and a few loaches would be decent stocking.

What filtration are you running?

I can't get a bigger tank for a year now.
My filter is an aqueon 55, 325 GP.
could I not have loaches and have 2 plecs instead?

Gawd, I had no Idea so many fish could be in one of my tanks...
