New Fish

[Catfish Keeper]

Got a shovelnose catfish and a BGK today, for $8 a piece. I put them both in a 150g with my 2 Pearl Gouramis and Bullhead. Was wondering if there was going to be any compatibility problems. Also at my lfs my BGK was hiding in a tube, so I got him one. However, he won't go in it, he lays on top of the water output tube from my Rena Xp3. Should a be worried about this, should I push him off? Comments are appreciated.

dont add a parrot. lol but limas are nice. my lfs has a tank of em... i wanna see what they look like when they are bigger. so keep us updated

I wouldn't worry about the BGK. Once the lights go out for the night, he'll probably find another place to hide. They are really shy once they are introduced into a different tank. Just give him some time.

Limas are my third fav shovelnose, behind Tigs and Jurenese. Looks good!

He already ate some bloodworms off the tip of my finger. I put some bloodworms on my finger to see if he would eat and ate them right off, t was very cool.
