Well i got 1 eureka red to day at the pet store will have 2 females next week.

I all so got a EBJ electric blue jack dempsey.

There both really small about 2'' or 3 '' but there in my 40 g grow out at the moment.

will they be ok together when they are bigger?

Well i guess they can not mix when they are bigger as i have read on goggle so i guess what are the tank req on a EBJ?

Those are great fish, congrats. I would not mix them for very long. IMO SA/CA cichlids should not live with Africans. Water requirements and aggression behavior are just too different. I believe a single full grown EBJD is fine in a 55. If you have 2, I would suggest a 75 at minimum.
