It's an alligator gar.

What are you feeding? Could you post a few more pics?

It looks like an alligator.
Have you tried feeding earth worms? Not to many things will turn down a worm.

I never usually recommend this, but if it will not eat you can try some feeders. Like rosy red minnow. Or gold fish.
I would recommend quarantine them for a while first. I would only do this to stimulate its appetite and get it eating. Then reintroduce other foods like the pellets.
Remember every time you feed a live fish to another fish you risk introducing any disease that the feeder may be carrying.

Are you sure..? If it is can you please tell me about its eating habits as my one is not eating anything since i got him. I got him 2/7/17
Definitely a gator gar. Like BIG-G since it's been some months...use some feeders. Been too long. I'm sure adults can go without a while but not young fish.

Would advise guppies instead. Rosy red and goldfish have low in nutrients and thiaminase. But quarantine all feeders with salt and prazi/MB. Safest way.

How's ur water parameters by the way?

Good idea! never thought about guppies.
OP If you have a little space you could even breed your own guppies for feeders. That be a little safer then buying because you can control their health better.
Either way you can also gut load the feeders with some hi protein content food before you feed that will help pass it along to your gar.

I breed mollies and platies as a secondary food for all my fishes but i usually try to feed them sticks
