New fish!!

So thanks to Miles I have a sweet new arrangement. He sold me a 75 gallon tank, a 55 gallon tank, a 12 inch black belt, and an 11 inch GT, all for a great price!! I know the GT is a male, but what sex is the black belt? Also, the GT did get a little beat up on the ride back home in the cooler by the black belt but is recovering. The black belt is in the 75 with some dithers due to the fact that he is a real aggressive fish, and the GT is the boss of my 125 with a JD, Jag, Oscar, and a couple of cons.

I would say famale on the Blackbelt. It is showing no sign of a nuchal hump and by that size it would show. Colors not showing real strong either. Best way is to watch for the Vent tube. Males usually thin and curved, female usually straight and thick. Also if you want to try and vent physically turn them over and vent opening will be larger in female than male, but I don't really think you need to pretty sure it is female.

As requested! Oh, and his Butti is a very sweet fish! I had my shot, but he and his wife were too kind. Got an extra Oscar in their right now...holding it for a friend until the end of the week.

I should make a video of her flaring at me. It seems to be only me she does it to. lol I could free up the tank downstairs . I have her and the red devil in the big tank now. My other R.D. doesn't know how to play nice, so he went into the tank they were in with some pink cons and my parrots.
