new fishy!!

a few weeks back the lfs had an EBJD that's barely an inch long
i was all excited simply b/c i've never seen one in person. but
knowing that they tend to have health problems due to genetics
i decided not to get him. i hadn't been to that store in a while but then since i saw him there i kept going back every week sometimes two or three times a week...So what i'm trying to say is i finally caved and bought him after watching him for three weeks seems pretty healthy. i hope he's a male

b/c i've got two ladies for him!! possibly more EBJD's in my future
does anyone have a pic of these guys when they get big? i've never seen a big EBJD..I'll post pics tomorrow of the little guy.

I'm sure you'll find some good pics if you use the search function in this forum. Search EBJD or blue dempsey etc. I know there have been a few threads about them recently with great pics.

from what i here about 2 out of 10 small ones make it. my buddy bought 2 for 15 each and both died. i know rapps had some large established ones but dont know if he still has them. good luck with yours
