Crazy thing is I left for about 2 hours and I guess he jumped out and knocked off the lid but I put him in the water and he was fine. He was out of water for 2 hours.

they are very docile but avoid slender silver fish as they will be eaten. any small fish may be a snack, ud be suprised what can fit in those skinny jaws. great looking gar
