Got a new Flowerhorn in the exchange of silver arowana (9 inches) as my tank is not enough as well as my desire for FH.
I am 99.9% sure this is Red Dragon ZZ as i have raised few of them back in India. This fish was doing well in the LFS as well as today morning when i introduced him into the tank. But later in the afternoon he got stressed out and hiding in the corner.
I noticed him getting scared when ppl move around (as the tank was near the passage), so i covered one side of the tank with some temporary sheets, but still then he is completly acting weird and stressed out.
I understand that he will take time to get used to the new environment, but by the way he was active in the morning and completly stressed in the evening is what makes me worry.
