Just got a new flowerhorn today as i have been wanting one for a while after seeing them alot. Its just a baby around 1-2 inches. I bought it off this guy that breeds them and told me it was a red dragon fry so im hoping he turns out nice. He has some nice pearls and a good amount of red already so im hoping the color will get even better :D Right now he/she is eating freeze dry krill mostly and bloodworms. will post pics in a bit. Just wondering what else is good for bringing out the best colors in flowerhorns. Right now i have him with a jardini but soon the jar will be gone. Im already wanting another one lol. Get back at me :)

jgdelgado, I do believe I recommended that to you! Did you try it out?

Also they do say "Chingmix" is the ultimate flowerhorn food for color and kok growth... expensive stuff... But otherwise yeah, just a good variety, with a good staple pellet.
 
Wow thanks guys. Looks like i got some fish grocery shopping to do. Ill try these out and see what happens. I hope he gets even better coloring as he grows. Im already eyeing some super reds lol.
