new flowerhorns i bought from this pair :D any thoughts?

two fries i bought about 2inch now

both fries look so different. looking frwrd to what they would turn out
now feeding them okiko pellets. any potential on them?

I think they are duds, you should probably just send them to me so you can have some tank space for some better ones

I think the first 1 actually come from the pair, the second one look like thai silk to me, lol
the 1st one look promising with early color development. Good luck!

Yes I too think that 2nd one is thai silk based fry so fingers crossed for that one but both are good looking fry.

yeaa im assuming tht too. but both fries are from the same prents btw. the first one, has a lot of body pearl, i havent yet put lighting on their tank now but im hoping to buy one today to pop up their colour

is it even possible to have a thai silk fry even with a non thai silk parents? thanks btw

The blue pearling you see on Thai Silk comes from ZZ Flowerhorn. Thai Silk is nothing more than a ZZ morph.

I found this and hopefully it might explain how Thai silk flowerhorns are made.
