Just thought I'd share with everyone that I got an American Green Tree Frog for my paludarium. So excited, as it's one more amhibian/reptile for my growing collection. His tankmates are 2 longfin leopard danios, but I'm thinking about replacing them with an African Butterflyfish.

I would not replace your already made combo wich is absolutley fine, a african buterfly fish needs higher temps and also are very predaceous so if your frog is small they can eat him when it goes for a swim. Also you need way more danios and you could also ad white clowds minow. Be shure to quarentine any fish you put in as frogs are very sensitive to fish patogens.

I'm not going to buy the African Butterfly then, even though the frog is 2 inches long (not including legs). I'll just go get some more danios. I can get leopard, zebra, or blue danios for 99 cents each at the LFS where I bought him. He seems to like perching on the one pothos leaf in the tank. I would also like to add a gray tree frog or another green tree frog to the tank. All the plants in the tank include: Java fern, pothos, spider plants, some houseplant that looks like and grows just like bacopa, a bronze cryptocoryne, and some floating water sprite. I noticed today that any crickets that fall in the water are gobbled up by the danios.
