Hello.

Recently relocated and have not had the tanks setup for a few months. finally getting the honeydo list completed and pulled out the 75g w/d. pump and heater and everything still works - so left it bare (except for black paint on outer bottom and back) and broke a few clay pots for the bottom.

searched LFSs and found a pike cichlid - looks to be about 4 or 5 " -

have always kept tang africans - so this will be first foray in to monsters. likely keep this a one fish tank - or depending on how hooked i get may go to species.

i will send a few pictures this weekend because can guarantee whatever the petco label says that is not the correct scientific name for the fish! would appreciate some help identifying.

plan to feed frozen krill and pellet - will supplement with earthworm and local gambusia - just want to make sure the wife and kid will feed him the former when out of town.

any words of wisdom let me know.

look forward to interacting w/inthe forum!

Dale
