Hey guys...I'm new to the forum from Jax, FL....been seeing a lot of vids on youtube with HUGE tanks in comparison to my little 10 gallon. I have a pelco, 2 koi and a shubunkin gold fish who I just added today. Once the koii get a little bigger I'm probably goin to upgrade to 45-55 gallon tank for them. My long term plan is once I get a house I'll have a pond for the koi and a nice big tank in the 400 gallon rang inside and have an assortment of fish in their.....but this a ways down the road.

Cute. Is there a MonsterFishFood.com forum? Just kidding. Welcome to the site and a world where you will NEVER feel like your tank is large enough.

how true about the feeling like your tank is never big enough:cry:
and welcome...i had some koi growin out inside once upon a tank:D about 4 of them they were given to me as a tip

You have to think smaller at first. But the truth of the matter is the bigger the tank, the easier to maintain. A large body of water is difficult to poison with stupidity.

Welcome local! Nice set up you have and this forum will teach you many things and everything you want to know!

If you have any questions aswell please feel free to contact me as I am a local aswell from Orange Park, if you are ever looking for some fish stores around here fell free to ask and I'll give you the hook up

:welcome: to MFK!

I'd personally lay off adding koi until you have a pond. Tanks smaller than 300g are just not an option for them, no matter how you try to maintain it. They're not really aquarium fish.:(
