Hello Everyone!
I'm Eric and a newbie to fish keeping. I came across your site while doing research on what fish I'd like to stock, probably because I tend to gravitate towards Green Terrors, EBJDs, and BPs
My wife bought me a 55g (my first fishtank) as an early Christmas gift, and after quite a bit of cleaning the tank and sanding down and repainting the stand, we've begun a fishless cycle that has been going strong for about 2 weeks. I'm still doing a lot of research as regards to what I want to keep, and have gravitated towards Green Terrors and EBJDs while my wife insists on at least one BP in the tank. I also really like the EBJDs, but am hesitant to put them in a new tank even after it is fully cycled seeing that they tend to be less hardy than the regular Jack Dempsey's, they also come with a lofty price tag for my first go around in the hobby, as I'm sure I'll be making some mistakes.
Anyway thought I would introduce myself. Your site seems to be full of information and I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me!
