So I just got my new FRT, and the substrate I am using is mostly sand mixed in with some crushed coral(small pebble size) and I saw it try to eat a piece of the crushed coral. Should I be worried/remove all of it? Thanks.

If the piece was huge/jagged it might be a problem...I keep mine on really fine crushed coral with no problems. I do notice my other turtles eating the substrate quite a bit...

yes it was for the ph

Cool, I thought about putting crushed coral in mine, but I was able to achieve the desired pH with the sand alone.

This is one of those things that is your call. It should be fine, but if you are going to be worried about your turtle and remain on the safe side, I'd say yank it out of there. The sand alone my just keep your pH right where you want and need it.
