I did my daily check on my tanks yesterday and found a clay pot full of eggs with parents willing ro rip my fingers off. This is the first for my Jack dempsey's and hope they do good. I checked on hem today and had a couple of white eggs the rest looks good. The only problem I'm afraid of is the other fish in the tank. I know the jacks will protect them I just hope they don't freak out and start eating the fry. I'm headed out in the morning to see if I can get a new tank for the others so the jack's can have the tank to themselves. Wish me luck.

Mine are in the same position but they are very vigilant in watching their batch and making sure no one gets near.
I'm waiting for fry then I'll also be setting up a separate tank just for them.
