new gar has a few bugs? on it. anyone have any ideas?

Not sure exactly what this is so hopefully someone can tell from these pics.

I have only had the gar for a few hours, hes about a foot long and came from bluegrassaquatics.com

determined it to be water lice. I removed the gar then removed the lice from the gar with my fingers and a napkin. Put back in the tank and hopefully none fell off in the water before I removed the gar to get rid of the lice.

They have medication for that but I don't remember the name of it.
