New Gar ID please....

I picked up a new gar last night. He/she is pretty beat up(got him for $10). I have him in a 180g with a florida gar and a couple silver aros. He looks like a Florida but is more of a rust color than my other gar. Please help me ID.

Thanks Xander!!! At the lfs it was marked as a "stubby finned gar"(????)--LOL.. He looked very sad in a 40g tank--I had to rescue him .

I'm pretty sure thats the scientific name for florida gars.

they are not, they are 2 entirely different species', L.platyrinchus & L.oculatus respectively. there have been quite a lot of recent threads that explain the difference, try looking them up.
