HI I HAVING A FEW GARS BY THIS WEEKEND I WAS WONDERING WHAT TYPE OF BOTTOM DWELLER CAN I HAVE BESIDE BICHIRS

I COULD USE SOME ADVICE THANKS

You'll get varying opinions on this but you could probably keep cats, but choose carefully. No plecos or synos as they're slime coat eaters...and the big cats like RTC, TSN, and channel cats are going to be bad choices also. I'd try for large pictus type cats like 4 line cats, or maybe a lima shovelnose.

Are they just in town visiting relatives or something? How long are they staying for? They can go for at least a week without food so if they are only in town for the weekend then you might be ok.

bichirs work great.

bichirs, lima's, and if you have a extra tank incase stuff goes south fast, rays(this is the most iffy)

with gars i really wouldn't do any cats other than p.niger. bichirs are the vanilla, but it's kind of a bored combo. african aro's go well, but i really would just go with more species of gar
