New gar question

I got a new 6 inch gar today when i turned the main light out and the moon lights on the new gar swam for a bit then settled on the bottom and hasn't moved off the bottom for an hour is it normal for them to rest on the bottom at night like my oscar and jag do

It is normal for gars to rest on the bottom.

I'm hoping that the gar is not in the same tank as the oscar or jag, not a good combo.

No jag and oscar are in there own tanks thanks for the reply i can sleep now without thinking something is wrong
