I just picked up a 10'' fl gar tonight and brought him home and there these little green bugs on him. anyone know what they are and what to do about them can provide a pic if needed. Please help

I cant get a picture of them with my camera it wont focus they're about 1/16'' big and there crawling around on him. There actually a light brown color. I don't know if he came from a pond my lfs just got him in they know ive been looking for one. It just came from their supplier.
i think ur supposed to pick them off and bump up the temp....

I picked the ones i could off couldn't get them all. The temp is up to 87deg and i put in salt. Whats the best meds to use to get rid of these things thats safe for gars?
avoid the meds if u can!!!
gars are extremly sensitive to meds
salt and a temp increase probably the best thing u can do
also watch the temp closly u have to bump it up to try and kill these things but dont allow it to go too high and kill ur gar

Hes definately doing better and is more active downed 3 feeders in day and a half. How often should i feed him? I want to get him on prepared (shrimp,pellets)but i just wanted him to get better first.
