New Garnet Sand for my Polypterus

I removed my red,tan,black mix 3m colorquartz sand and added red garnet sand. This is really deep dark red. I might look for the brighter red to mix with it. So far not much changes, only the Ansorgiis lost a bit of contrast but better base color. One of my Congicus got bit lighter, I can see the stripes better. For some weird reason, the bichirs weren't very active when I took the video but when I took photos, every bichir was swimming all over the place. The video doesn't show the color of the sand that well. The bichirs are 14"-25"+. :popcorn:

nice Hao! now get brighter garnet to make them look like true jewels!
 
Very sharp Hao!!!! I actually like the darker look of that as oppossed to a bright red. Your poly's look great as usual
