NEW GEOPHAGUS ???

I purchased these from a LFS 2 weeks ago that originally had them labled as juruparis. They then changed them to surinamensis. I have some surinamensis that I have raised and these look a little different. These little guys are hearty eaters and I have noticed they have filled out pretty good over the last two weeks. Any thoughts as to what they could be? Thanks!

Looks like a variant of altifrons (lack of lateral spot even at that size) - noones going to have an easy time telling which.

Hi Ron... Congrats on the new guys.. Love the last "face off" picture. What else is in the tank and how big a tank.. Any full tank shots Good luck with them... Sue
