I purchased these from a LFS 2 weeks ago that originally had them labled as juruparis. They then changed them to surinamensis. I have some surinamensis that I have raised and these look a little different. These little guys are hearty eaters and I have noticed they have filled out pretty good over the last two weeks. Any thoughts as to what they could be? Thanks!

Looks like a variant of altifrons (lack of lateral spot even at that size) - noones going to have an easy time telling which.

Thanks for taking a look Japes. I appreciate it. They are beautiful and it will be interesting to see what they turn out to be.

Hi Ron... Congrats on the new guys:clap:clap.. Love the last "face off" picture. What else is in the tank and how big a tank.. Any full tank shots  Good luck with them... Sue:D
